Fun with diving at any age - it’s never too early or too late to start!
Since 2004, the North Shore Dolphins have been training children (and adults) to dive through our popular Learn-to-Dive programs. The Club offers a diverse program to ensure children and youth are able to enjoy a full complement of coaching and camaraderie. Promising divers are invited to competitive programs. Athletes develop at their own pace, and while we are committed to providing high performance diving, our club is focussed on providing diving that is safe, exciting and most importantly, fun!
The majority of our programs operate out of the West Vancouver Community Centre, however, due to the program’s popularity, we offer classes at the Ron Andrews Pool in North Vancouver as well.
Our Dolphin divers have won countless medals at all levels of competition in Canada – from the fun local competitions, to the BC Summer and Winter Provincials, the BC Games and the Canadian Junior National Championships. Since 2009, our coaches have supported divers at the Canadian Nationals.
The Club was thrilled to recruit Head Coach, Jerry Jaramillo from Medellin, Colombia in 2022. Well respected in the international diving community, Jerry brings energy and enthusiasm to the sport and an incomparable understanding of how to get the best out divers of all ages. He brings 17 years of international coaching experience and includes the successful development of numerous World and Pan American champions.
Jerry is supported by a team of young coaches who are passionate about creating an environment of fitness, fun and development - in and out of the pool!
